Wardani Handmade in France from acetate Cellulose. France produces 2 types of tortoiseshell accessories, Machine-made and Handmade WARDANI French line is Handmade from Acetate Celluloid and it is the higher-end type. The acetate celluloid comes in square sheets (same concept as leather) they are cut and curved by hand using dies and sometime heat. The French machine-made tortoiseshell basically it is a good quality plastic better then China one. Sometime painted by hand and the seller refer to it as hand made but in fact it is not. Most of the other shops are selling the injected machine made in France
